'ウルフトーン橋' / 'Wolfe Tone Bridge'
'ウルフトーン橋'
を渡ってすぐの駐車場: 🄿 を利用しました。
'ウルフトーン'の名前は、アイルランド独立に奔走した、
ウルフ・トーン (1763
- 1798) に由来します。
彼については下記。

We drove across 'Wolfe Tone Bridge' and used the carpark : 🄿 The name of the bridge, 'Wolfe Tone' came from Wolfe Tone (1763 - 1798)
who made
every effort to gain Ireland's independence.

フィッシュ・アンド・チップスで、有名な "マクドーノイズ" でランチをとりました。
ここは、魚の種類が豊富です。
They have many types of fish.

| ディズニーランドの'カリブの海賊'を思わせる装飾... ウ〜ン、なんと表現すれば良いのか? このお店には合っているのでしょう！ 
Decoration that reminds me of Disneyland 'Pirates of the Caribbean' ...

見ためは悪いけれど、美味しかった〜！
日本のクラム・チャウダーは殆どクリームベースなので(私の経験では)白いけれど、ここのものはおそらく、マッシュ・グリンピースが混じっていてモスグリーンです。
そしてマッシュ・ポテトも入っていると思います。
マッシュ・グリンピース(マッシュ・ピー)はフィッシュ・アンド・チップスによく添えられる一品です。
Its
looking is bad, but it was delicious ~!
Japanese
'clam chowder' is mostly cream base (from my experiences), so the
colour is white though here is moss green colour, because probably I
think it is mixed with mashed peas.
And
also it included mashed potato.
Mashed
peas is common as a side dish for Fish and Chips.

was my first time to eat salmon as Fish and Chips.
I
think 'Salmon' was too superior?, it was too oily for me ....
If
I have next time here, I would choose Cod or Haddock....

クリフデン/ Clifden の"ミッチェルズ レストラン" / "Mitchell's Restaurant"では、彼はチップスを作り直してもらっていましたが、ここのチップスは気に入ったようです。
ラーメンは中華食堂のものよりも、ラーメン屋さんの方が美味しいというのと似ているのでしょうか？

でも夜の方がもっと賑やかのようです。
マクドーノイズもこの通りにあります(上の写真左)。

I feel they work like a lubricating oil.
It
is the largest medieval church in existence in Ireland.

の正式名は、1965年に、"ジョン・F・ケネディ記念公園 "
/ "John F. Kennedy Memorial Park"になりましたが、今もって、"エア公園"の名前が
一般的です。

"ゴールウェイ・フッカー" / "Galway Hooker", 1984

"ゴールウェイ・フッカー" / "Galway Hooker"は、
ゴールウェイ湾にある、伝統的な帆付きの漁船です。
The Galway Hooker is a traditional fishing boat used in Galway Bay.

say

monument is 'a reminder of the great architecture in the days of
Galway's civic opulence' between the sixteenth and eighteenth

ガイドの石碑 / Explanation Plaque
'ドア枠の上の紋章は、ルネサンスの影響の良いサンプルである'
と石碑に刻まれています。
'ルネサンス' がなかったとされるアイルランドでも、
ここにはあったのだと主張しているのかもしれません。
Engraved on the explanation plaque is
'Their achievements of arms occur above the door case which
is a fine example of Renaissance influenced design.'
Perhaps even in Ireland, which is supposed not to have had 'Renaissance',
it is claimed that it was here.

ブラウニー家は、13世紀半ばから19世紀後半まで、ゴールウェイを政治的にも経済的にも取り仕切っていた14部族 ('Tribes of Galway') のひとつです。

The Brownie family is one of the 14 tribes ('Tribes of Galway') that controlled Galway politically and economically from the mid-13th century until the latter 19th century.

'Tribes of Galway', of the fourteen families twelve were of Norman-origin, the other two were Normanised Irish Gaels in their paternal ancestry.
The name of the city is said to be "a foreigner's town" (from a foreigner, Gall)....( Indeed)

| ありました！ ショッピンングセンター建設中に遺跡が見つかり、 当初の計画を変更し、このように新しい建築物の中に 組み込まれました。 その柔軟な対応に驚きます。 I found them!
An archaeological site was found during the construction of the shopping centre,
the initial plan was changed, and the wall were incorporated within the new building.
I was amazed at this flexible response.

ゴールウェイの街の歴史がパネルにされ、展示されています。 The history of the city of Galway is made into panels and exhibited.   アウグナヌー城 / Aughnanure Castle を作ったのが、オハラーティ族です。
アウグナヌー城については下記。

Ireland, O'Flaherty,

made castle walls.
