| ダンシング・ハウス (踊る家 ) 正式名: ナショナル・ネーデルランデン・ビル 1945年にアメリカからの空襲を受け、その後誰も住んでいなかった場所に、 1996年にこのビルができました。 ちなみにこの空襲は、ナビゲーション間違いでされたとのこと。 いろいろな意味で戦争って、怖いですね。 Dancing House :

ダンシング・ハウス (踊る家 ) がプラハにあることをすっかり忘れていた...というか、プラハにあるということを把握していませんでした。
英国以外のヨーロッパのどこかと思ってはいました。
英国の大学では、アート大学でも卒業論文を書かなくてはなりません。
もちろん、卒業制作もあります。
英国の大学は3年制で、卒業までに小論文も何度かは書いているので、突然論文を
書かされるわけではないのですけれど、やっぱり、英語ができない私には、かなり負担でしたし、日本でも正式な論文なんて書いたことがなかったので、それはそれは大変でしたよ〜。
その大変な最中に建築家のフランク・ゲーリー (1929 - ) のこともリサーチをしていて、このビルもそのときに目にしていました。
それが突然、トラムに乗って移動しているときに、目に入ってきて、びっくり！
そうか〜、プラハにあったのか〜と.....。
この中世の街に、ダンシング・ハウスのような建物を建てる許可がよくおりたものだと感心もしました。
場所は、モルダウ川沿いの角地なので、プラハの中では最適な場所だったのかもしれません。(街中ではないので、近所の雰囲気を壊さないという意味で）
トラムから見つけた後、必ず、この機会にそばまで行って見たいと思い、そして実現でき満足しました。

| オフィスビルになっていますが、 最上階はレストラン: La Perle de Prague。 眺めは良いようですが、食事の評判はあまりよくないようです。 It is an office building, although the top floor is a restaurant : La Perle de Prague. I heard the views are wonderful, although the food is not so good. |

Dancing House
I had completely forgotten that the Dancing House (★) is in Prague...or perhaps I should say I did not comprehend this is in Prague.
I thought this is somewhere in Europe outside Britain.
We must write a thesis in a British University course, even though it is an Art University, of course, graduation projects, too.
Normally a degree is a three-year University course in Britain, before the last year students have made some essays so it is not suddenly making an essay for graduation , however, I could not use English well, the thesis was hard for me, moreover, I hadn't written a treatise in Japanese degree, you know it was exceedingly burdensome....
While I was in the hard time, I researched about Frank Gehry (1929 -) and ran my eye's over this building.
Then, I suddenly came across it when I was moving by tram.
I was surprised...It is here~! It is in Prague~!
I admired that the permission was granted for a Dancing Building type to be built in the medieval city.
The place is a corner and beside the Vltava which might be best for this. ( I mean here is not in the centre of the city and this does not break the area's atmosphere so much)
When I saw this from the tram, I thought I would go close to it and look at it,
then I did and was satisfied.

| ゲーリー自ら名付けたのは、'フレッド＆ジンジャー' でした。 この名は、有名なダンサーのフレッド・アステア (1899 - 1987) と ジンジャー・ロジャース (1911 - 1995) のコンビに由来しています。 ですが、この名はあまり浸透しませんでした。 のちになって、ゲーリーも "アメリカのハリウッドのキッチュなテイストをプラハに入れることを恐れる" と言って、彼の案を捨てました。 Gehry himself named here, 'Fred and Ginger' which came from famous dancers, Fred Astaire (1899 - 1987) and Ginger Rogers (1911 - 1995). However, the name has not permeated. Moreover, Gehry himself was later "afraid to import American Hollywood kitsch to Prague", he threw away his idea. |

| う〜ん、雰囲気がない街灯が邪魔ですが、仕方ありません... このビルもなん百年後には、'なんとか様式'と呼ばれて プラハのガイドブックに、ひとつの建築様式として 説明されるようになるのでしょう。 Well, the street-light does not have a good atmosphere and disturbs this photograph, I cannot help it. In hundreds of years time, this building will be called 'Blah blah style' and Prague's guidebooks will explain this was one of architectural styles. |

| 英国の学生時代にこれに似た陶芸作品を見たことがあると記憶しているのですが、 誰の作品だったか、思い出せません。 I remembered I saw a ceramics work which was similar to these when I was a student in Britain, however, I did not recollect whose work.  水族館？か空襲か？ 訪れているときはここが空襲にあった場所であると知らなかったので、 これを見たときに、このビルは、ダンスをイメージしたというよりも、 モルダウ川のそばであることから水をイメージし、 それから水族館ぽく作ったのかな？と推測したのです。 でも、今はもしかしたら、これらは空襲を やんわりと表現しているのかとも思えます。 Aquarium Or Air Raids? When I visited there, I did not know here had had an air attack. So I guessed this building is close to the Vltava, its image was water and then it was created like an aquarium rather than the dancing image. However, now, I thought they show us the air raids gently, too. |

| アート作品のよう 痛み具合も含めてかっこよく思えます。 西洋わびさびの世界！ こういうのも、水族館ぽく私には感じられてしまいます。 They look like an Art work. I feel including worn-out condition, cool. This is Western Wabi-sabi World! They also let me have a feeling about an aquarium, too. |
2) モルダウ川のボール遊び / Ball Play in Vltava

| ボール遊び 同じ遊びをワージングで見たことがありました。 あれは"消防署の一般公開日"の出し物(?)のひとつでしたが、 大きな携帯プールの中でした。 けれど、これはモルダウ川の中。 同じ遊びでも、プールと川ではかなり違うイメージです。 川の方が危機感があって、おもしろさも倍増である気がします。 流されないように各ボールにはロープが取り付けてあるようです。 Ball Play I saw the same play before. That was one of a Fire Station open day's attractions in Worthing and was in a big mobile pool. But this is in the Vltava. I think they are quite different in the pool and the river, even though they are the same games. I feel the play in the river has more of a sense of danger and double the fun. Each ball has a rope to protect it from floating away.  見ているこちらも面白い！ It is great fun for viewers too! |
