㉘ 2017年7月27日 ヘルシンキ旅行 - "カフェ・サクセス" / Helsinki Trip - "Café Succès", 27th of July, 2017

'建築博物館'の後に目指したのは、"カフェ・サクセス / Café Succès" です。

フィンランド人のコーヒー消費量は、世界で2位と言われています。

ちなみに日本は10位前後と言われているそうです。

After the 'Museum of Architecture', we went towards to "Café Succès".

They say that the average consumption of coffee in Finland is the second highest in the world.

By the way, they say that the average Japanese consumption of coffee is around the 10th highest.

カフェ・ベーカリー・サクセス /  Café Succès
デザイン博物館、建築博物館から近く、特大シナモン・ロールが売っていると
聞いたので、訪ねました。

I heard the cafe is near to the 'Design Museum' and the 'Museum of Architecture' 
and they sell a big cinnamon roll, so we visited there.
ここを優先すると、デザイン・ディストリクトにある
おしゃれな店が閉まるであろうと予測されましたが、
特大シナモンロールが食べたくて行きました。
地元の方々に愛されているカフェようでした。

If I made visiting the cafe our priority, I could guess that the stylish shops 
in the 'Design District Helsinki' would be closed,
 however, I wanted to eat the big cinnamon roll,
so we did still visit the cafe rather than the shops.
The cafe seems to be loved by people who looked like locals.

場所も中心地から離れ、閉店時間に近いためか、
室内には私達といく人かのお客さんがいるだけでした。
そとの席には結構まだお客さんはいました。

The cafe is far from the centre and it was close to the closing time,
so there were us and some people inside.
There were still a few people outside.

観光客がたくさん来ることが察しられました。

Recommending Menu in A Few Languages
I could guess many tourists come.

鏡にうつる男性が閉店間際にやってきて、
コーヒーと大きなシナモンロールを食べてました。
仕事帰りでしょうか？

A man is in a mirror who came close to closing time
and had a cup of coffee and a big cinnamon roll.
Was he on his way home after work?

シナモン・ロールは大味？って感じ....。
大型サイズが原因なのか、閉店間際で味が落ちてしまっていたのか、
もしくは繊細なかもめ食堂のシナモンロールを食べた後だったからなのか、
理由はわかりません。
でも、このサイズはこのカフェだけなようなので、
これを食べずして帰るわけには行かないのでした。
普通サイズのシナモン・ロールも売っています。
もしかしたら、味的には、そちらの方が美味しいのかもしれません。
食べきれなかったので、持って帰り、翌日、朝食として食べました。

The cinnamon roll was a casual taste.
The reason might be the size or it was closing time so its taste had deteriorated, 
or after I had tasted a delicate cinnamon roll from "Ravintola Kamome",
I do not know...
However, this size is only available here, so I could not leave without eating this.
They sell a normal size one, too.
That might taste better.
 I could not finish it, so I carried it out and then I had it as breakfast the next day.
